About the Author
Dr. David Walls-Kaufman
Born in Austin, Texas, Dr. David Walls-Kaufman is a graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic and was editor of the campus newspaper. He is the author of three books, a chiropractor, musician and composer, and an award-winning short story author who comes from a writing family that includes a Pulitzer Prize winner, three published authors, a newspaper owner and editor, and an internationally known sports writing and broadcasting legend.
He is a lifetime member of the International Chiropractic Association, holds certification in Chiropractic Biophysics, served for many years on the District of Columbia Chiropractic Board, sat on the Council on Chiropractic Practice Guidelines Committee since its inception in 2004 and served as its Treasurer, and is a lifetime member of the Association for Chiropractic History. He is NIH certified for human health outcomes research and has participated in chiropractic research studies.
Dr. Walls-Kaufman rendered pro bono services every Tuesday for seven years to the internationally known N Street Village Women’s Shelter, and was chosen their Man of the Year for 2010 for this service to indigent women seeking treatment for substance abuse, and taught free Tai Chi on the United States Capitol grounds and Lincoln Park for twenty-five years.
His literary godfathers, Chad Oliver and Patrick Conway, were respectively a multiple-book science fiction author, and the reporter who reported the Kennedy assassination over the Dallas AP wire, and who coined the term “The Grassy Knoll.”
The author divides his time between writing, T’ai Chi, and advocating for the breakthrough in “brain-first healthcare” essential for the Left-Right divide and a rationalization of our entire concept of healthcare and social welfare. His articles have appeared in The Washington Post, Flopping Aces, American Thinker, and Liberty Island Magazine.
He is a principal founder in Enginuity Power Systems, the first technology into the electric nanogrid energy space, with backing by the Jobs Family green ventures fund, Emerson Collective. He is a founding partner of TrueTicketAI, and sits on the board of its parent company, Grit & Stone Labs, with two AI patents to his name.
He is the author of Caesar Americus: One Party Rule, Robot Archangel, and The Genius Machine and the Theory of Everything. He served as a staff assistant for the Joint Economic Committee and spent nearly four decades in a chiropractic practice four blocks from the United States Capitol that was “a graduate course” in DC politics.
His father, Jim Walls, was a successful Austin restaurateur, and ran for Congress. His grandfather for years taught telescope making from scratch at the Smithsonian. He is the step-son of Richard F. Kaufman, who was voted one of Capitol Hill’s 10 Most Influential Men and worked as the right-hand man of the legendary Sen. William Proxmire. He is the nephew of legendary sportscaster Larry Merchant of HBO Sports, and the brother of Pulitzer Prize winner Sarah Kaufman.
He is a highly regarded Tai Chi teacher who has won internationally and published on this subject, and taught at the Library of Congress, the Sackler Museum, the Virginia Theological Seminary, and lectured at Harvard.
He continues to write and podcast to promote the Genius Machine model of human action, to compose, and to do stand-up comedy. He has extensive speaking experience and has devoted lifetime effort to the chiropractic event that he believes unveils the body’s property as a “musical instrument that needs to be tuned,” as the missing piece to finally rationalize both human health and national social welfare systems, to make them, finally, effective and cost efficient.
